Ten Months

I am so in love with this little girl. I can hardly believe that she is already ten months old, and that her first birthday is just around the corner! She has changed SO MUCH in the past few weeks. She has started crawling which unleashed her curiosity and desire to explore every square inch of the house. She is particularly drawn to the pantry and under the table where her brother and sister often leave her crumbs to snack on. We joke that she is just like our own little puppy. :) She has also started pulling up to standing and loves the freedom of grabbing things that were once out of reach. She is still such an incredibly happy and easy going baby. She has such a funny personality and loves to "trick" us by pretending to hand us something then taking it away. Her mischievous side is starting to show as well. She's discovered the joy of throwing food off of her high chair, and gives us a big grin to say, "You said stop but I'm still doing it!"  Jeff has taught her the signs for "more" and "all done", and she is so proud to be able to start communicating. She "talks" all. day. long. And she's learned to match her volume to her brother and sister's. The louder they are, the louder she is. She mimics what they say and we are often amazed at how clearly her "words" come out. Her latest trick is telling that Santa says "Ho! Ho! Ho!" She is just so much fun, and we are loving every second of her quickly passing first year!
